“Growing up on the countryside you cannot have too many interests.
Basically, because there's not so much to do in general. The way I
spent my teenage years was driving rally with my dad's car and playing
drums. On the other hand, isn't that the best stuff you can do? When
the years and different phases of my life went past I found myself
sitting on a drummer throne of Frail. During the tours when the other
guys are tired and smell bad and act pigs on the back of the van,
it's nice to have some time of your own sitting in front on the driver's
seat..
I've
played in various bands, but before Frail I've never really felt like
home. Everyone has been telling me to play softer until now. So currently
I have the right to play loud and I certainly will do it! What I really
would like to do is to practice like ten hours a day. There's just
one
but: My primary fundamental essence is lazy.
Gigs are the best part of musician’s life. Touring includes
driving, driving, waiting, waiting, soundcheck, more waiting and other
not so comfortable stuff. But you can survive through this when you
remember that when you get on stage you can rage all the frustration
out of you!"
