"I’ve been playing guitar and writing songs since I was 10 years old. Putting my emotions down on paper was something I used to do almost every day when I was younger.I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, from Carole King to System of a Down, but all the artists I listen to have one thing in common, and that is that they are all good songwriters.
Besides good song writing, I’ve always had respect for bands that fill the stage with energy. What’s the point of seeing your favourite band live if they don’t have an experience to offer, if they don’t give all they have to their audience? Bands like Blindside and Pillar have given me a new meaning for the word “show”. These days you can have videos, pyrotechnics and all kinds of extra stuff to support your live performance, but nothing beats the smell and glisten of fresh sweat!
I love playing in Frail because of these two things that I feel we’ve managed to combine: good song-writing and energetic live-shows. We want to write songs that touch the human heart and play gigs that give you something to remember. If that doesn’t happen, I’m not happy.”
